Construction Project Manager / Estimator

Technique Construction is looking to add a Project Manager/Estimator to our growing team in Regina.

For the past 12 years, Technique Construction has built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism, and client satisfaction. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated construction professional who can help lead projects from initial estimate through to successful completion.

Our work is primarily focused on renovations. From commercial tenant improvements and office renovations to institutional and specialty projects, the scope of work is highly varied.

Responsibilities

•     Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates and tender submissions
•     Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
•     Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
•     Manage projects from award through closeout
•     Develop and maintain project schedules
•     Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, consultants, and site personnel
•     Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability
•     Manage change orders, progress claims, and project documentation
•     Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as required
•     Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality

Qualifications

•     Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, estimating, or a combination of both
•     Strong knowledge of commercial and/or institutional construction and renovation projects
•     Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
•     Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
•     Valid driver's license
•     Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
