Position Overview: ECO is are seeking an experienced or trainee Estimator to join our growing

team. This role will analyze architectural plans, perform quantity takeoffs, calculate material and

labor costs, and compile competitive bid proposals for spray foam insulation and fire stopping.

Key Responsibilities

Takeoffs & Cost Estimating: Perform detailed digital quantity takeoffs and

material/labor estimates for open/closed-cell spray foam, thermal barriers, in tumescent

fireproofing, and UL-classified fire stop assemblies.

Plan & Spec Analysis: Review blueprints, architectural drawings, scope documents, and

structural specs to identify project requirements and building code compliance.

Proposal Development: Prepare and present comprehensive, competitive bid proposals

and submittals to general contractors, architects, and project owners.

Vendor & Subcontractor Relations: Coordinate with suppliers to secure material

pricing, obtain quotes, and track raw material market trends.

Scope Management: Identify scope gaps, prepare value engineering alternatives, and

track project change orders during execution.

Site Inspections: Conduct periodic site visits to verify measurements, evaluate job

conditions, and ensure scope alignment Qualifications & Requirements
