CNC Saw Operator/Yardperson - #sksupportsukraine

PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are currently looking for a permanent full-time based individual in our Yorkton Plant.

We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil & gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.

We are looking to hire a motivated & hard-working CNC Saw Operator/Yardperson in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and leadership in the yard area.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC and manual saws, cutting material to precise specifications

Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment

Pull, inspect, and verify product before processing

Safely set up equipment to run material according to work orders

Verify product meets specifications per written instructions and record measurements

Maintain organization and inventory of raw material in the yard

Load and unload shipments, including rigging and securing material

Perform equipment preventive maintenance and routine shop clean-up

Assist in packaging of material when required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Conscious of and adherence to safe work practices

Requirements

Forklift experience required

Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use calipers

Previous experience with metal saws or CNC equipment considered an asset

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes

Ability to work independently and with a team

Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada
