Clerk/Cashier - Food Store (14049)

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Clerk/Cashier (2 Positions) at our Food Store location in Paddockwood, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Serve guests, pack groceries, stock products, face shelves, and dispense fuel and propane.
• Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in first out (FIFO).
• Maintain a clean store by tidying clean shelves, bins and displays, spillages, and breakages, and keep aisles free of debris.
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco and lottery.
• Operate point of sale system and other electronic devices and process sales.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

Who You Are

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements, working both inside and outside, standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
• Able to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
• Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
