Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time casual Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Domremy, Saskatchewan.
What You Will Do
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Serve guests, pack groceries, stock products, and face shelves.
- Maintain a tidy store by cleaning shelves, bins, displays, spillage, and breakages and keeping aisles free of debris.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer, tobacco, and lottery.
- Operate point of sale system and process sales.
- Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in first out (FIFO).
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- 19 years of age or older.
- Strongly service-oriented and motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
- Able fulfill physical job requirements, including standing, kneeling, crouching, and performing heavy lifting regularly.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
