Cashier - Food Store (13877)

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Cashier (2 Positions) at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities and requirements for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members' lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Serve guests, pack groceries, process transactions, stock front-end products, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery.
• Maintain an organized and sanitized workstation.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems. policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• Attentive to detail and possess strong cash management skills.
• Possess polite and professional communication with customers and coworkers.
• Possess POS experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Able to fulfill physical job requirements, such as standing for extended periods with some repetitive motions.
• Possess a flexible work schedule including days, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
