Position Summary
Includes field laboratory testing, density testing, construction survey, quantity calculations, and construction supervision.
Primary Responsibilities
Field laboratory testing of soils and aggregate including sieve analysis, proctors, sand equivalents, Atterberg limits, and moisture content
Compaction testing in the field using nuclear density gauge
Material sampling following standard test procedures
Quality control and quality assurance to company and client quality standards on a variety of construction projects
Participate in project supervision requirements
Communicate with on site supervisor and contractor during project execution
Preferred Qualifications
An interest in road construction and the associating engineering and administration
Open to learning and engaging as part of a team
Current or graduate student in the Civil Construction field or equivalent work experience not necessary but helpful
Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License, we work throughout the province in all weather. Comfort in operating and maintaining vehicles
Experience in surveying transportation infrastructure projects with a solid understanding of GPS systems is helpful
Infrastructure construction site experience with a willingness to work on-site in a construction environment
Ability to travel to worksites across Saskatchewan as required

Requirements
Compensation Details
$27.50-$35/hr
