About this role
The Saskatchewan First Nations Water Association (SFNWA) is seeking a Certification Training Program Developer to research, develop, and maintain training materials for First Nations-focused water and wastewater operator certification programs.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the successful candidate will develop curriculum, competency frameworks, technical manuals, workbooks, presentations, learning activities, and other educational resources supporting operator certification and professional development.
Responsibilities include researching industry standards and certification requirements; developing learning objectives and competency frameworks; writing technical and educational content; consulting with subject matter experts; incorporating First Nations perspectives into training materials; reviewing existing resources; and supporting certification program development and evaluation.
Qualifications may include education and experience in environmental science, environmental engineering, civil or environmental engineering technology, water resource management, adult education, curriculum development, technical writing, Indigenous studies, or related fields.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent research, analytical, organizational, communication, and technical writing skills and be able to explain complex technical concepts clearly and accurately.
Experience in water or wastewater operations, operator certification, curriculum development, adult education, or technical writing would be considered an asset.
Some travel within Saskatchewan may be required.

$68,000 - $78,000 annually
