Casual Secretary (+)

As a Secretary with the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. (MACSI), you will perform a variety of duties that include, administrative support, program support, dealing with the public and providing support as a liaison to Director, counsellors, and other staff. This position reports directly to the Regional Director. Hours of work will be 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday pm on an as-needed, call-in basis.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide administrative secretarial support for the Regional Director.
• Screen calls and visitors to the Centre, and refer inquiries as appropriate
• Respond to complaints and requests o Interact with representatives from business and community organizers, the public and all levels of personnel
• Compose and/or process a variety of letters, reports, forms, resolutions, ordinances, and other documents both paper and electronically
• Use of Microsoft Office, fax machine, photo copier/scanner, and electronic postage machine
• Compile and maintain statistics for periodic reports o Schedule meetings, and logistics
• Process incoming and outgoing mail/courier
• Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, travel arrangements and conference reservations
• Ensure proper documented signatures when required
• General light housekeeping duties as needed
