B Pressure Welders & Journeyman Welders

Requirements

•   Must be an Interprovincial Red Seal or have a Journeyman Welding ticket from a recognized provincial training authority.
•   Must posses a valid "B" Pressure Ticket.
•   Work with Pipefitters and Welders on the installation and completion of pressure piping systems and their supports.  Includes ASME Sec 1, B31.1 Boiler External, B31.1 Power piping, B31.3 Process and Utility Piping code Welding Requirements.
•   Proficiency in all position use of GMAW, FCAW, SMAW; all sizes of weld wire.
•   Ability to work with minimal supervision or as a team player and experienced in working in field and shop environments.
•   Perform maintenance and repair work at client sites, maintain company quality standards, Ability to read and interpret drawings and follow welding procedures.
•   Must have a valid Saskatchewan's Drivers License.
•   Have good attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
•   Must be safety conscious.  Perform all tasks with safety as top priority.  Participate in safety program, attend toolbox and safety meetings, plan safe work with team members daily on Pre-task Hazzard Assessment forms, Intervene and communicate any unsafe acts or conditions.
•   Safety tickets such as fall arrest, confined space, aerial platform, first aid/CPR are an asset
