We are looking for a full-time apprentice carpenter or skilled labourer who is a self-starter with energetic & results-oriented work style, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Characteristics Needed to Succeed

• Related work experience is considered an asset.
• Valid class 5 drivers license and drivers abstract.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, under pressure, while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Adherence to safety practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Demolish drywall, take down ceilings, or otherwise prepare spaces for renovations.
• Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible.
• Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required and install them where designated.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.
• Complete safety documentation.
