Assurance Manager and Assurance Senior Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assurance Manager/Senior Manager to join our team. This leadership role is ideal for a motivated CPA who enjoys managing client relationships, leading assurance engagements, mentoring team members, and contributing to the continued growth of our firm.

Key Responsibilities

Review and/or prepare audit and review engagements

Review and/or prepare various tax filings

Manage client engagements from planning through completion

Coordinate year-end engagements and communicate with clients throughout the year

Assist clients with shareholder remuneration and tax planning

Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality work

Stay current with changes to accounting and tax standards

Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members

Build and maintain strong client relationships

Participate in business development and assist in growing the firm's client base

Perform other accounting and advisory duties as required

Qualifications

CPA designation or CPA candidate nearing completion

Accounting diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution

Minimum three years of public practice experience with assurance engagements

Strong knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, and IFRS

Experience with Caseware and TaxPrep is considered an asset

Excellent communication and client service skills

Strong organizational, leadership, and time management abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines

Professionalism and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
