Accounts Payable & Payroll Clerk

REACT Waste Management is looking for an Accounts Payable & Payroll Rockstar to join our team!

This is a full-time, permanent position for someone who loves numbers, appreciates organization and gets a weird amount of satisfaction from making sure everything balances.

You will be responsible for keeping the financial wheels turning, including Accounts Payable, vendor payments, bi-weekly payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll remittances, GST/PST, employee files, benefits, pension administration, ROEs, T4s and other accounting and administrative tasks that keep REACT running smoothly.

You will be using ADP for payroll and Sage Intacct for accounting, so experience with either would be a bonus, but we are more interested in finding someone with solid Accounts Payable and payroll experience who is not afraid to learn new systems.

We are looking for someone who is

Detail-oriented and accurate (because close enough does not work in payroll)

Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines

Comfortable handling confidential information

A problem solver who will not immediately panic when something does not balance

Able to work independently but still enjoys being part of a team

Experienced in Accounts Payable and payroll
