The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General is seeking a permanent full-time Legal Assistant in North Battleford. This position offers an opportunity to work within the Public Prosecutions regional office, supporting the administration of Saskatchewan's justice system through a variety of legal, administrative, and client service functions in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have knowledge of office administrative procedures, filing systems, legal terminology, criminal court processes, and legal document administration. Completion of at least a one-year Office Administration program, preferably in Legal Administration or Court Administration, is required. Strong computer, data entry, records management, and document preparation skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities include maintaining prosecution files, preparing legal documents and correspondence, responding to inquiries, managing electronic and paper records, using office software and databases, and providing administrative support to the prosecution team.
