The Ministry of Justice and Attorney General is seeking a permanent full-time Legal Assistant in Regina. This position offers the opportunity to support Saskatchewan's justice system by providing legal and administrative services within the Public Prosecutions regional office in a fast-paced, professional environment.

They possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work effectively with colleagues, police services, witnesses, accused persons, and members of the public, including those experiencing stressful or sensitive situations. Candidates should have knowledge of office administrative procedures, filing systems, legal terminology, criminal court processes, and legal document administration. Completion of a one-year Office Administration program, preferably in Legal Administration or Court Administration, is required. Strong computer, records management, data entry, and document preparation skills are essential.
Responsibilities include maintaining prosecution files, preparing legal documents and correspondence, responding to inquiries, managing electronic and paper records, processing information using office software and databases, and providing administrative support to prosecutors and the prosecution team.
