The Ministry of Highways is seeking a motivated Supervisor, Operations for the Watrous Section within the Operations and Maintenance Division. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1A drivers licence and knowledge of highway maintenance operations, heavy equipment operation and servicing, workplace safety practices, traffic control procedures, and occupational health requirements. Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel, and lubrication systems is required. Contract or project management experience and knowledge of ice roads are considered assets. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and resource management skills are essential.

Duties include supervising staff and program delivery, coordinating highway maintenance and snow and ice control activities, operating and maintaining heavy equipment, preparing reports and operational records, ensuring compliance with safety and roadwork policies, and responding to inquiries from stakeholders and the public.
