- Diagnose livestock health issues
- Direct farm feed inventory activities
- Handling animals
- Marking livestock as proof of ownership
- Monitoring animal health
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work
- Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration
- Treat livestock health issues
- Co
- ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Ensure farm safety and bio
- security procedures are followed
- Formulate feeding program
- Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock
- related programs
- Maintain work records and logs
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
