The Department of Health, Seniors and Long Term Care is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Senior Clerk / Records Officer, to join Comptrollership Branch
Duties
Reporting to the Supervisor, Accounts Payable, the Records Officer / Senior Clerk is responsible for administering the department’s Records Management Program, as well as undertaking a wide range of duties to support contract and purchasing management for the department.

Qualifications
Essential
Extensive experience in records management, including maintaining schedules, retention, archival and retrieval of records.
Experience monitoring purchasing contracts, including tracking invoices, payments, and preparing financial reports.
Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, guidelines, rules, terms and conditions.
Strong attention to detail to work efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage conflicting demands.
Experience working with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel or similar software applications..
Strong verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and professionally with a broad range of staff members, clients, and stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills to respond effectively through email and internal communication channels.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage change well within a team environment.
Desired
Experience working within SAP computer software, specifically within the financial payment processes and reporting modules.
Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent program/training in administration.
