You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of our human resource branch while coaching and mentoring the members in our community of practice while ensuring exemplary principle-based practice. You will provide expertise to complex accommodation, conflict and performance/labour relation and recruitment files, while providing oversight to a full range of human resource practices and services.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume/cover letter clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications listed below. Please note selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume and cover letter; ensure you use a month/year to month/year format and include the duties you performed in each of your positions.

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or other relevant discipline with a focus on Human Resources, or significant recent experience in human resources in the public sector;
  • Considerable recent experience leading a range of human resource management services, such as accommodation, recruitment and selection, training and development, and labour relations in a unionized environment; and,
  • Recent experience supervising staff and leading teams; including coaching and developing employees preferably in the practice of human resources.
