Senior WordPress Web Developer
Location: In-person, Saskatoon Office
Employment Type: Full-Time
Optimize is seeking a Senior WordPress Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. You'll work with clients and our internal team to build scalable, responsive, and user-friendly websites that help businesses succeed online.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to discuss website requirements.
Design and develop custom WordPress websites.
Build website architecture, themes, and plugins.
Customize WordPress plugins, stylesheets, and responsive layouts.
Manage back-end development, database integration, and server connectivity.
Conduct website performance testing and optimization.
Troubleshoot website and content issues.
Provide WordPress training to clients.
Monitor and maintain live websites.
Qualifications
Web development certification required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
Strong experience with WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
Knowledge of responsive design, website performance optimization, and current web development best practices.
