Welder/Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to project specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of various welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical processes to support our construction, ductwork, and manufacturing operations. Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements
• Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding on various metals with high accuracy
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment effectively
• Rigging and handling heavy components using cranes or forklifts in accordance with safety protocols
• Measure materials using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools to ensure proper fit and alignment
• Operate machining equipment such as lathes or mills when necessary for component fabrication
• Assist in assembly processes by fitting parts together according to schematics and instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and procedures
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications

Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding and fabrication
• CWB certification
• Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and equipment operation
