Vice Principal

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Vice Principal to join our leadership team. The Vice Principal will work alongside the Principal to provide leadership in instructional excellence, student support, staff development, and school operations. This role is essential in creating a positive, respectful, and culturally enriched learning environment that reflects the values and traditions of the Payepot Cree Nation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide instructional leadership and support to K-12 teachers in delivering high-quality, culturally responsive education.

Promote a positive school climate focused on student success, respect, and inclusion.

Address student needs, behavior, and well-being using fair and restorative approaches.

Support teacher supervision, professional development, and performance feedback.

Build strong relationships with families, caregivers, Elders, and community partners.

Promote and integrate Cree language, culture, and traditions throughout the school.

Assist with the daily operations of the school, including scheduling, safety, and policy implementation.
