Steam-Est Industries is hiring a Class 1A or 3A Vacuum Truck / Hydrovac Operator.
This position is ideal for an experienced driver or equipment operator looking for steady, year-round work close to home. Our work is based throughout southeast Saskatchewan, and our operators are home every night.
Our services include hydrovac excavation, vacuum truck and septic service, potable water hauling, line jetting, pressure washing and industrial cleaning for oilfield, utility, municipal, commercial and residential customers.
WHAT YOULL DO
Operate vacuum trucks and hydrovac equipment
Perform hydrovac, septic, water-hauling and industrial-service work
Complete inspections, paperwork and job documentation
Keep trucks and equipment clean and ready for work
Work safely around customers, crews and underground utilities
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A or 3A drivers licence
Acceptable drivers abstract
Strong safety habits and mechanical aptitude
Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a crew
Pride in caring for trucks and equipment
Comfortable with physical outdoor work in changing weather
Available for overtime, scheduled weekends and an on-call rotation
Vacuum truck, hydrovac, oilfield, heavy-equipment or commercial-driving experience is an asset but not required. Current safety tickets are also an asset.
