Trucking Dept Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Trucking Dept Logistics Coordinator to join our company working from either Yorkton, Humboldt or Swift Current. You will play an important role in supporting fleet operations across the organization to ensure load readiness, peak unit efficiencies & drive increased profits & customer/employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate load readiness for requests in all locations & depts
• Secure permits for oversized/overweight loads & communicate requirements to team
• Coordinate service work required for equipment
• Provide quotes for internal/external customers for Canada & U.S.
• Monitor road bans & transport restrictions
• Support trucking schedules through effective communication & coordination
• Maintain compliance with transport, permitting & licensing requirements

Requirements

• 4+ years of exp in trucking, transport, or fleet logistics
• Experience with fleet ops/maintenance programs, business systems & fleet mgmt software
• Knowledge of transport regulations & permit process
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Experience interpreting reports & ops data
• Previous experience in ag an asset
• Ability to work in fast-paced env & work under pressure
• Flexibility to work varied shifts
• Valid drivers license
