Truck Trailer Mechanic

M&N Repair Ltd is a repair shop that specializes in diesel engines and truck and trailer repair. We also offer other services such as: automotive repair, parts, and tires. We are SGI Certified for insurance repairs and are equipped to repair all makes and models. We are also an SGI Certified Inspection Station for mid-size truck, heavy truck, power unit, trailer, semi-trailer and bus.

We are looking for truck and trailer technicians that have experience in all areas of truck and trailer repair. This includes but is not limited to:

Engines (Gas and Diesel)

Exhaust Systems

Electrical

Drivetrains

Brake Systems (Air, hydraulic, electric, etc.)

Hydraulics

A/C Systems

Suspension

Glass Replacements

The ideal candidate would hold Journeyman certification, but we do welcome all apprentices and those with extensive mechanical experience.

Essential skills would include

The ability to work alone or as a team

Attention to detail in both accurately performing and documenting repairs

Effective communication skills through written and verbal means

Having the physical capabilities to perform repairs using both heavy tools and heavy parts

Being able to complete repairs within the scope of standard industry timeframes

Welding and fabrication skills and/or a valid class 1A driver's license would be considered an asset

In order to be considered the candidate must have their own basic tool set, a valid class 5 driver's license, and steel toed boots.

Wages will reflect a candidate's experience level. We will not hesitate to meet top wage levels for those with excellent credentials.

Overtime opportunities are available for both evenings and weekends.

Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Closed daily through the lunch hour.
