Truck Driver (Temp)

At Pattison Ag we seek talent ready to GROW, CONNECT & EVOLVE with us! We are looking for a Temp Truck Driver to join our fast-paced company working from Swift Current for the next few months. Our Drivers provide exceptional customer service through the transport of equipment (in CA & USA). You get to deliver quality work in one of Canadas top John Deere dealer organizations.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-weight/dimensional equipment to/from customers or dealerships
• Support Sales Dept with deliveries
• Maintain accurate records & up to date certifications & permits
• Meet operating standards, required inspections & codes for commercial vehicle transport
• Keep assigned truck & equipment in good condition & monitor performance/mechanical fitness of vehicle
• Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed
• Ensure self & others follow all safety regulations
• Build/maintain positive co-worker relations

Requirements

• 5+ yrs exp hauling equipment & truck/trailer repair/maintenance
• Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls & use of RGN trailers
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office & internet
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, & operation of ag equipment an asset
• Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Valid 1A License, ability to haul in CA & USA
• Work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required
