Transitional President

Lead the Creation of a New Theological School

St. Andrews College (SAC) and Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon (LTS) invite applications for the position of Transitional President.  This is a rare executive leadership opportunity to guide two respected theological schools through a significant period of transition as they establish a new institution that builds on their shared commitment to theological education, scholarship, and service.

Reporting to the Transition Team, which has been jointly mandated by the Boards of both institutions, the Transitional President will provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership throughout an expected 30-month transition period.  The successful candidate will help establish the organizational, cultural, academic, and financial foundations of the new school while ensuring continuity of programs, relationships, and operations.

This is expected to be a 30-month, full-time appointment, anticipated to commence on or about January 1, 2027, and to conclude June 30, 2029, with the appointment of a permanent President.
