Tower Operator - Crusher

JJ Trucking Ltd. is seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years experience in aggregate operations:  cone crushers, screens and conveying systems.

Responsibilities include

• Moving and manipulating the controls for the feeding, crushing and screening machinery
• Visually observe and monitor gauges and all equipment while in operation to maintain proper flow of material on belts, crusher and screens
• Stop equipment immediately when blockages occur
• Keep accurate material records
• Effectively manage a team of people, provide direction and ensure safety.

Qualifications

• High degree of mechanical aptitude, must be familiar with all aspects of the maintenance and repair of aggregate plant equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to find out-of-the-box solutions
• Ability to communicate
• Strength to lift up to 100 pounds and push/pull more using mechanical aids
• Climb steps

This position works shift work, rotating days/nights on 10/4, 12 hr shifts.
