Teacher - Temporary Full-Time

Living Sky School Division is seeking a Temporary Full-Time High School Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the team at Cando Community School immediately. The position will continue until January 29, 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on enrolment and the needs of the school.

The successful candidate will teach at the high school level, with the specific teaching assignment determined based on school needs and the successful applicants experience, skills, and areas of strength.

Cando Community School operates on an alternative school calendar that includes 14 Fridays off over the full school year. As this position begins after the start of the school year and continues through the end of Semester 1, the successful candidate will benefit from the remaining scheduled Fridays off during the term of the position.

Cando Community School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school located in the Hamlet of Cando. The school serves students from Red Pheasant Cree First Nation, Mosquito First Nation, and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

Valid Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate or eligibility for Saskatchewan teacher certification
