Qualifications
Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum, environment and assessment
Knowledge of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently
The Preferred Candidate will have
Familiarity and experience with Northern issues
Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
Minimum of five years of successful administrative
Experience at the elementary, middle, and secondary years level
Graduate academic training in school administration
Strong instructional leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strong commitment to the schools plus/community schools and safe schools' concept
