Stewart Valley Branch Manager (FT)

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Stewart Valley Branch Manager will be responsible for the total operation of the Branch, including staff supervision and scheduling, sales, customer service, inventories, margins and budgets. Must be able to scrutinize operations and initiate remedial action where necessary.

Commodities include crop protection, farm equipment rental, feed, animal health, energy, hardware, oil, propane and grocery items.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have strong supervision, communication, merchandising and marketing skills with previous experience managing a successful agro or farm centre. Certified Crop Advisor or Agronomist status is a definite asset. Must have or be willing to acquire their pesticide dispenser licence. The successful applicant will be required to operate forklift. Position is classified as Safety Sensitive. Therefore is subject to Pioneer Co-ops Alcohol and Substance policy is a condition of employment.
