Job Descpition: The Policy Specialist Indigenous Engagement and Implementation is directly accountable to the Indigenous Engagement and Implementation Director, First Nations and Mtis Health, and provides policy development, analysis, engagement and implementation expertise, with a primary focus on the Compassionate Intervention Act and its implications for First Nations and Mtis peoples, communities, patients, families and healthcare providers across Saskatchewan.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Education
- Undergraduate degree in policy, public administration, health administration, Indigenous studies, social sciences, healthcare or a related discipline. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Additional training in one of the areas of 1) archiving 2) records management 3) policy development 4) clinical standards 5) government relations and 6) communication is an asset
Experience
- 7+ years of experience working in a research/policy analyst or senior role
- Experience in a senior clinical and/or corporate role
- Corporate and/or Clinical policy development experience
