Job Description: The Practitioner Staff Affairs (PSA) provincial office provides SHA wide support through a coordinated team based approach. Provincial services are provided centrally and support local delivery in the 6 PSA area offices. The Specialist is responsible for standard provincial physician strategies and development and maintenance of provincial physician systems to support the Practitioner Staff Affairs portfolio.Reporting to the Provincial Director, the Specialist will provide technical and strategic advice to all levels of management on issues such as physician recruitment and retention and program planning to inform operational and budgetary planning. The incumbent conducts public policy analysis, formation, program development and evaluation. The Specialist supports the strategic development and implementation of the provinces physician engagement, recruitment and retention plan.

- 3-5 years' experience working in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- 3-5 years performing strategic recruitment and retention planning and execution
Education
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Business Administration diploma (DBA)
Licenses
