Solutions Engineer

At RFNOW Inc., we are a leading Internet Telecommunications Service Provider dedicated to delivering high-speed, reliable internet connectivity to residential and business subscribers. We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our team to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, costeffective, and aligned with both customer requirements and organizational capabilities.

The Solutions Engineer plays a central role in supporting the sales cycle by translating customer needs into technically sound, commercially viable telecommunications solutions. This position partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to design, validate, and present solutions involving fiber networks, transport systems, IP networking, wireless technologies, cloud connectivity, and managed services.

A successful Solutions Engineer is a blend of technical architect, trusted advisor, and customerfocused communicator.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of telecom technologies such as fiber networks, Ethernet services, IP routing/switching, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, DWDM/optical transport, and wireless systems.
• Experience designing enterprise connectivity solutions (e.g., DIA, Layer 2/3 VPNs, SDWAN, SIP/VoIP).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customerfriendly language.
• Proficiency with network design tools, Visio or similar diagramming software, and quoting/configuration systems.
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and solutionarchitecture skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and commercial teams.
• Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and preparing technical proposals.
