North Ridge Development Corporation, Saskatchewans leading home builder, is seeking a Site Supervisor to join our Saskatoon team.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and monitor construction activities to ensure all aspects of the project are completed on-time, on budget and safely.
Review and direct subtrades to complete change orders.
Schedule municipal required inspections, coordinate necessary repairs for compliance and schedule re-inspections.
Conduct regular inspections for quality control.
Correct quality assurance deficiencies before customer walkthrough.
Conduct home/unit walkthrough inspection with client.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all site workers are complying with company safety policies.
Work with the Project Manager and Estimating Manager, Sales Consultant, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve design problems.
Communicate with Warranty Department to identify problem areas.
Conduct safety and toolbox meetings on a weekly basis with staff and subtrades.
Conduct Hazard Assessments and Inspections prior to job start and at milestones.
Maintain Occupational Health and Safety requirements on site with staff and subtrades.
Identify safety incidents and issue disciplinary actions.
Evaluate and monitor time sheets of direct reports for absences and payroll requirements.
Manage performance of direct reports including providing direction, mentorship, establishing performance criteria and conducting performance reviews as per North Ridges process.
Complete Vehicle Maintenance Report on a monthly basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
Carpentry Journeyman or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in construction industry.
Valid drivers license, insurable by North Ridge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient time management and organizational skills.
General computer skills.
Self motivated.
Safety conscious.
