Shipping & Receiving Assistant

DryAir Manufacturing, a world leader in portable hydronic climate control systems, is seeking fulltime Shipping & Receiving Assistants to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting our shipping, receiving, inventory, and production operations. We are looking for reliable individuals with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues as required
• Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing shipments
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or other material handling equipment (as certified)
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
• Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and cycle counts
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to support material flow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including WHMIS
• Support other warehouse or production duties as needed

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Logistics experience is considered an asset but is not required
• Knowledge of loading/unloading trucks is an asset
• Forklift experience is preferred; willingness to learn is acceptable
• Strong reading and writing skills
