Shelter Worker - Part Time Nights

Wednesday/Thursday nights.  7:00 pm-7:00 am.

The Shelter Worker demonstrates knowledge of and empathy for women and children fleeing interpersonal violence in a non-judgmental, caring and loving environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of Grade 12 and up to 2 years experience in the human services field

A combination of education and experience required to fulfill the duties above

Crisis management skills are an asset

Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, nights and weekends

Demonstrate knowledge of and empathy for victims of interpersonal violence
