Service Mechanic

Prairie Co-operative is hiring a Full Time Service Mechanic at our Farm Supply located in Ituna, SK.

What you'll do

Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation in the Service Bay and Hardware Department while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.

Perform tire changes and repairs, as well as balance tires in the service bay. Must ensure these repairs and services are satisfactorily completed as per work order within a scheduled time as requested, ensuring quality workmanship

Perform oil changes, make hydraulic hoses, and cut roller chain.

Responsible to service, repair, and inspect Prairie Co-op vehicles and equipment.

Provide a high level of propane and pump service in a high traffic area.

Process customer orders and purchases using the point-of-sale terminal to meet established productivity and service standard

Maintain shelf and display stock and organize all goods intended for sale to meet established standards.

Order supplies and stock and perform inventory processes.

Provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements and expectations of the customer.

Performs general housekeeping duties to ensure all areas of responsibility are safe, organized, clean, and tidy.

Who you are

You are forklift qualified or willing to obtain qualification

You are able to lift 50-100lbs comfortably and repetitively

You have a valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract

You're familiar with home and building products
