We are looking for a safety-focused and mechanically skilled professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and takes pride in maintaining critical infrastructure.
This position will play a key role in the operation, maintenance and long-term sustainability of the South Saskatchewan River Project (SSRP), one of Saskatchewans most important water infrastructure systems.
In this position, you will conduct and assist in supervising dam operations, physical maintenance, inspections, testing, and rehabilitation activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established operational and engineering standards.
Working as part of a highly skilled team, you will support maintenance activities, contractors, and operational staff; conduct inspections and operational testing of mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems; and contribute to the planning and coordination of maintenance programs and schedules. You will also operate and maintain specialized equipment, assist with contract administration, help champion workplace health and safety initiatives, and support training, stakeholder engagement, and public outreach activities. The successful candidate will have a Industrial Mechanic Certificate or similar trade discipline, an Industrial Mechanic Journeyperson Status and a valid Saskatchewan drivers license.

Compensation Details
Hourly Wage: $35.60 - $44.50
