Seasonal Equipment Operator

Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the willingness and aptitude to operate various pieces of municipal equipment as required.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operating municipal equipment as assigned.

Culvert and sign installation.

General labour duties as directed by the Foreman.

Performing daily safety and maintenance inspections on equipment.

General care and maintenance of municipal equipment.

Reporting equipment deficiencies to the Foreman.

Qualifications

Mechanically inclined with knowledge of equipment maintenance.

Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

Valid Saskatchewan driver's licence.

Class 1A driver's licence

First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, and Powered Mobile Equipment Certification are assets but not required.

Wages will be based on qualifications and experience.
