SARCAN Recycling Technician

Porcupine Opportunities Program, a non-profit organization that supports adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, is seeking casual recycling technicians for our SARCAN depot in Porcupine Plain.

Duties include

Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as needed.

Helping to deliver great customer service and ensures a safe and healthy work environment;

Gathering recycling materials from customers of SARCAN and processing all gathered materials which may include sorting, crushing, packaging and palletizing materials.

Loads and unloads trailers by hand and with assistance of equipment

Adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

Possess strong organizational skills;

Good customer service skills;

Good problem solving skills;

Dependable;

Must provide a satisfactory criminal record check as a condition of employment.
