Sanitation/Transfer Station Worker

The Key First Nation is seeking a reliable and hardworking Sanitation & Transfer Station Worker to handle waste collection routes and oversee the daily maintenance of our local transfer station. In this role, you must be able to safely operate and drive a garbage truck to haul waste, perform heavy manual labour, and ensure the transfer station site remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.

Job Requirements & Physical Qualification's

• Valid Drivers License: Must possess and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs.), bend, stand, and perform strenuous manual labour throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors for long hours in all types of weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, and cold) and around unpleasant odor's.
• Must have a friendly and professional attitude when guiding members of the community on proper trash separation rules.
