Rural Municipal Foreman

The RM of Tramping Lake No. 380 is accepting applications for the position of Rural Municipal Foreman.

Duties will include, but not limited to

• Co-ordinate and organize the daily duties of the outside workers in consultation with council
• Ensure standards set by council are implemented and achieved
• Supervising and directing the maintenance of all municipal equipment and municipal buildings
• Assist the Administrator in the preparation of the annual budget and capital works plan
• Purchase of supplies related to the transportation services as per the annual budget
• Mowing
• Backhoe Work
• Rock Picking
• Reclaimer
• Grading
• Applying Gravel with Semi & Gravel Trailer
• Sign & Culvert Maintenance
• Gravel Checking
• Shop Maintenance
• Repairs of Equipment
• Other duties as assigned by Council

Candidate Must Possess

• Class 1A driver license preferred
• Experience in operation of heavy equipment
• Minimum 5 years experience as a foreman
• Pesticide Applicator License would be an asset

The successful applicant will work under the direct supervision of Council and report directly to Council.
