Roofer/Labourer

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roofer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse roofing projects, contributing to the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and construction equipment
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
• Use carpentry skills to measure, cut, and fit roofing materials accurately according to project specifications
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood, and metal sheets safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of roofing plans
• Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
• Support the team with general handyman tasks related to construction projects as needed

Experience

• Prior construction experience or familiarity with roofing projects is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, carpentry, caulking, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality workmanship
• Basic handyman experience or general construction background will be considered an asset
