Suncrest College welcomes applications for a Clinical Instructor in our Practical Nursing program. This part-time, term opportunity is from October 18, 2026 until December 18, 2026 (213 hour contract) at our Melfort campus.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to make an impact on future health care workers, by training upcoming Practical Nurses. The successful Practical Nursing Instructor is primarily responsible for instruction of the Practical Nursing program, and clinical instruction/supervision of students in health care facilities.
Requirements
- B. ScN or a degree in a similar field.
- Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience in the area of medical, surgical and pediatric or obstetrical nursing.
- Must be eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
- Current TLR Certificate.
- Applicants must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic accreditation requirements.
- Applicants must be in good standing with Saskatchewan Health Authority.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
