iDine Indian Cuisine is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team.
Position Overview
The Restaurant Server provides professional table service, assists guests throughout their dining experience, maintains clean and organized service areas, and supports daily front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests, present menus, and provide professional service.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Check on guests and respond to their needs.
Process payments and maintain accurate guest bills.
Set, clear, and reset tables, including cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Support private events and catering functions when required.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, servers, supervisors, and management.
Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Previous restaurant serving experience is an asset but not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.
Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
