Registered Nurse

Promotes health and healing, and provides education as a member of the health care team to achieve optimum care for the clients in all phases of health care. Under the direction of the Home Care Manager, the Registered Nurse carries major responsibilities in providing nursing services in the home; collaborates as a member of a multidisciplinary team in assessing needs, setting priorities for care and developing standards for care; participates in educational programs and performance evaluation process; promotes good public relations and participates, as required, in studies and research projects within the Home Care Program.
