In this role, you will
- Assist in operating raisebore and longhole drills and all associated equipment.
- Assist in the moving, set-up, teardown, and placements of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment and drills.
- Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.
Required
- minimum grade twelve education or equivalent;
- previous work as a drillers helper in a mining environment;
- minimum of two years underground work experience;
- strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills;
- rotating day shift/night shift schedule; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended
- experience with raisebore or longhole drills;
- experience in longhole drilling and blasting; and
- ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer).
