32 hours required the week of February 16 - 19, 2027
If Instructors are available to teach both in-person and online classes, it will increase their hours per week.
Weekday evenings.

Job Summary
We are looking for inspiring instructors to deliver speech and debate programming for young people grades 5 12 at our Speech and Debate Academy. Training and meetings will take place at the SEDA office at 310 Wall Street. Some meetings may be virtual. Classes will take place at cole Canadienne-Franaise - Pavillon Gustave-Dubois, 2320 Louise Ave.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare for classes with a co-instructor, adapting provided lesson plants for learner needs.
Deliverspeech and debate classes.
Participate in feedback and reportingprocesses, such as teaching observations, debrief meetings, and tracking learning objectives and goals.
Create a safe and fun environment for students grades 5 to12.
A possibility of mentoring junior volunteer instructors.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum grade 10 education
Writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Digital skills - comfortable with technology
Leadership experience, and team oriented
Reliableandorganized
Access to computer/laptop/tablet and internet connection
Speech or debate experience
A successful criminal record and vulnerable sector checkis required
Requirements
Compensation Details
17.50 - 19.00 per hour.
