Qualifications

• Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate (or confirmation of eligibility)
• Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience applying best practices in the areas of instruction, curriculum,land-based learning and assessment
• Knowledge of First Nations, Mtis, and Inuit languages, histories, and cultures
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team as well as independently

The Preferred Candidate will have

• Familiarity and experience with Northern issues
• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience
• Minimum of five years of successful administrative experience
• Experience at the elementary school level
• Strong instructional leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Familiarity and experience with Indigenous education
